Whether you are an experienced rider or have never been on a horse before, Shelby Farms Stables can bring out your inner horse whisperer. Join a guided tour through the woods behind Beaver Lake. These hour-long trail rides are fun for the whole family. Those more serious about riding can also take riding lessons at the stables.

Walk along the scenic Riverwalk or take a ride on the Monorail at Mud Island River Park, home to plenty of attractions and Memphis's own Adventure Center-the best place to get out and be active within the city. Watch the famous Peabody Ducks at the Peabody Hotel. For over 75 years, five ducks have graced the hotel lobby's marble fountain with their presence. The Peabody Ducks march alongside the Duckmaster twice daily. When not marching or lounging in the fountain, the ducks reside in the rooftop's Duck Palace. These ducks are definitely a hidden treasure that is unique to the city of Memphis.
