Little ones will adore the Children's Museum. Entertain young children for hours with 24 permanent exhibits and attractions that range from art to transportation. Children can climb "skyscrapers," generate tornados, observe the (literal) birds and bees in natural habitats and much, much more. Special events and programs are held regularly.
One of the original shops on Beale Street, A. Schwab's is an old-fashioned dry goods store that also sells voodoo paraphernalia. This shop contains every item imaginable in its football field sized building. Browse through the hundreds of unique specialty items and souvenirs.
Although the Wolf River Conservancy is continuing to develop the greenway, parts of the Wolf River Greenway are already open to the public. Located along the gorgeous Wolf River floodplain, this greenway winds its way through the undisturbed forest and along the largely unspoiled river.
Rent a pair of roller-skates or bring your own and head out onto the rink at the Cordova Skating Center. This skating center is open to the public every afternoon except Tuesdays, during skating lessons, and is a popular place for birthday parties. There is also an arcade area, for those not interested in skating.
