For a unique collection of art and artifacts, visit the Belz Museum of Asian & Judaic Art. Located near the famous Peabody Hotel, this specialized art museum features the largest and most comprehensive collection of Chinese art in the southern region of the United States. The museum is privately owned and stores a large permanent collection, it also hosts a number of events throughout the year.

Hattiloo Theatre is a Black repertory theatre company that is dedicated to developing a Black theater that is accessible to, relevant to, and reflective of a multicultural community. The theater stages at least seven major productions and about six special performances authored by Black writers each entertainment season.

Walk along the scenic Riverwalk or take a ride on the Monorail at Mud Island River Park, home to plenty of attractions and Memphis's own Adventure Center-the best place to get out and be active within the city. Built on a former railroad, the 7-mile long Shelby Farms Greenline is part of the Mid-South's latest development in urban parks and trails. This paved greenline serves as a walking, jogging and biking recreational trail. Gardens and greenscaping are scattered along the walkway, providing beautiful scenery in the urban community.
