Walk along the scenic Riverwalk or take a ride on the Monorail at Mud Island River Park, home to plenty of attractions and Memphis's own Adventure Center-the best place to get out and be active within the city. Rent a bike to explore the trails and surrounding area, or take a canoe or kayak out on the river. Learn about the history of the Lower Mississippi Valley at Mud Island's Mississippi River Museum.
As the only institution in the US dedicated to the advancement of the art and craft of metal, the Metal Museum features some of the most unique metalwork pieces in the country. View traditional and contemporary exhibitions on metalwork, including topics like hollowware, jewelry and enameling.
Rent a pair of roller-skates or bring your own and head out onto the rink at the Cordova Skating Center. This skating center is open to the public every afternoon except Tuesdays, during skating lessons, and is a popular place for birthday parties. There is also an arcade area, for those not interested in skating.

This juke joint doubles as a restaurant, so you can chow down on delicious food while enjoying live entertainment.
