This venue has been home to such performances as Matilada the Musical, Little Women: the Broadway Musical, Head over Heels: a new musical, Madagascar: a musical adventure, special family performances like The Ant and The Grasshopper, and much more for your entertainment and enjoyment. They have performance time set aside for other groups such as Ballet Memphis, The Memphis Symphony Orchestra, Opera Memphis, the Indie Memphis Film Festival and others, creating a fantastic new synergy for performing arts in the Midtown area of Memphis.
Party away the month of May. Join residents as they celebrate Memphis in May, a month-long festival featuring four main events: the Beale Street Music Festival, International Week, the World Championship Barbeque Cooking Contest and the Sunset Symphony. Bring the family out for awesome music, delicious food and Memphis heritage.
Rent a pair of roller-skates or bring your own and head out onto the rink at the Cordova Skating Center. This skating center is open to the public every afternoon except Tuesdays, during skating lessons, and is a popular place for birthday parties. There is also an arcade area, for those not interested in skating.
Listen to some of the best live blues and jazz music in Memphis at Wild Bill's, home to beer and blues. This juke joint doubles as a restaurant, so you can chow down on delicious food while enjoying live entertainment. Head out onto the dance floor or just sit at one of the long tables and chat with friends, new and old, at one of the hottest music venues on the nightlife scene.
