Built on a former railroad, the 7-mile long Shelby Farms Greenline is part of the Mid-South's latest development in urban parks and trails. This paved greenline serves as a walking, jogging and biking recreational trail. Gardens and greenscaping are scattered along the walkway, providing beautiful scenery in the urban community.
Bring your wild things to see the animals at the Memphis Zoo. The zoo is home to a number of big cats, primates and other African plains mammals, as well as a variety of reptiles, farm animals and exotic creatures from all over the globe. Take the family to an animal attraction or show, such as the Sea Lions or Animals of the Night, or feed the birds at the Birds & Bees house.
All ages are welcome to come to concerts at the New Daisy Theatre on Beale Street. This theater hosts a wide range of musical entertainment. Indulge in your sweet tooth with Dinstuhl's Fine Candy Company.
