The Brothers Wash

As the only institution in the US dedicated to the advancement of the art and craft of metal, the Metal Museum features some of the most unique metalwork pieces in the country. View traditional and contemporary exhibitions on metalwork, including topics like hollowware, jewelry and enameling.

One of the original shops on Beale Street, A. Schwab's is an old-fashioned dry goods store that also sells voodoo paraphernalia. This shop contains every item imaginable in its football field sized building. Browse through the hundreds of unique specialty items and souvenirs.

Enjoy symphonic and classical music in the Home of Blues and Birthplace of Rock ‘n Roll. Rock out in a more mature manner to the Memphis Symphony Orchestra's beautiful Masterworks Series, contemporary Pops Series, moving Classic Accents Series or harmonic Opus One.

Go on a water recreation adventure with Ghost River Canoe and Kayak Rentals. Follow the well-marked canoe trail in the Wolf River. This 8.5-mile trail includes many turns, beautiful cypress, wildlife sightings, a trip through Spirit Lake and the mystic Ghost Section. Located about half an hour outside of Memphis, this part of the river is great for more experienced paddlers but not recommended for beginners.
