For a touch of art integrated into the beauty of nature, visit the Crystal Shrine Grotto. This man-made cave is located inside Memorial Park Cemetery and features the work of Mexican folk artist Dionicio Rodriquez. Ten scenes depict the life of Jesus Christ, but even non-Christians will appreciate the beautiful art and the peaceful ambiance of this grotto.
Delve into the Native American way of life at the Chucalissa Museum and Archaeological Site. At this attraction, you'll learn about the culture and traditions of the indigenous inhabitants of the Mid-South through a variety of exhibits and artifacts. Displays about contemporary Southeastern Native America and the African American cultural heritage of the Chucalissa site's landscape are also found throughout the museum.
TheatreWorks hosts several of the city's theater companies, including Emerald Theatre Co., Voices of the South, Ballet on Wheels, Bluff City Tri-Area Theatre Co., New Moon Theatre Co., Our Own Voice, FreakEngine, Project: Motion and the Young Actor's Guild.
