Heading into its 50th season, this community theater produces comedies, dramas, classical musicals, and other entertainment that appeals to all ages. Special events, performances and classes occur throughout the year, and the company encourages people of all ages in the community to volunteer and become involved in the art of theater.
Rent a pair of roller-skates or bring your own and head out onto the rink at the Cordova Skating Center. This skating center is open to the public every afternoon except Tuesdays, during skating lessons, and is a popular place for birthday parties. There is also an arcade area, for those not interested in skating.
Burke's Books provides a home for wild, homeless books. Check out the second-hand and rare book selections, as well as a handful of newest novels fresh off the presses. This charming independent bookstore is said to be one of the oldest in the country, having opened in 1875.
