The out-of-this-world tool makes it possible to get an unbelievably close view of various stars and planets through their highly-powered telescope that is projected onscreen in the 165-seat viewing area. Also, the dome animation show is absolutely stunning. The Planetarium at UT Arlington does an excellent job of bringing the adventure of outer space up close for you and your family to discover and learn.
Six Flags Over Texas
There are many imitators but only one original Six Flags Over Texas. Affectionately referred to as "The Entertainment Capital of Texas," this iconic park sprawls out over 200 acres and includes rides, shows, attractions, and entertainment. The Texas Giant is the big rollercoaster that has been getting lots of attention lately, so make sure you get ready for a wild ride you'll want to experience again and again. Arlington Skatium

Arlington Bass Classic
Enter the Arlington Bass Classic in April for grand prizes and drawings. Contestants may fish anywhere on tournament waters available to the public and accessible by boat, except areas posted or otherwise designated as off-limits. Kayak and shore fishing are allowed, registered as individual competitors. Only artificial lures may be used for fishing. No live bait is permitted. Only 1 rod at a time, per fisherman may be used.
