Get ready for an exciting opportunity at the Arlington Bass Classic in April. Compete for grand prizes and drawings in a tournament where you can fish anywhere on publicly accessible waters by boat, except in areas posted as off-limits. Kayak and shore fishing are allowed, and individual competitors must register. Use only artificial lures - no live bait, and one rod per fisherman. The top 6 teams with the biggest stringer will win cash prizes, and the first-place team will be crowned Lake Arlington Bass Classic Champions. There's also a prize for the biggest bass caught, awarded to the winning team.
Want to strike out in a good way? Then make it a date to Alley Cats, Arlington's favorite place to bowl! The state-of-the-art scoring and incredibly well-maintained lanes will ensure that your game will be a truly enjoyable experience. In addition to an excellent gaming room, Alley Cats offers laser tag and putt putt golf that will keep the kids busy while you bowl an extra game.
Make plans to visit the Heritage Farmstead Museum, the most beloved historic farm site and Museum in North Texas. The Museum's mission is to preserve a landmark Texas farmstead where people can experience and learn from their agricultural roots. It features enclosed and open-air exhibition galleries showcasing topics related to local North Texas history. The authentic restored Farrell-Wilson House, Young House, and Farmstead grounds house these exhibitions, which rotate about once a year, offering visitors something new to see each time. Return often to learn more about North Texas farm life on the Blackland Prairie.
