Enjoy one of the largest indoor ProRodeo events in the world, Rodeo Austin, a not-for-profit that provides real experiences and gritty fun to raise millions for Texas kids. This year-round nonprofit is funded by a month-long real western experience held every March. Rodeo-goers get to do things they can do nowhere else including a ProRodeo, one-of-a-kind concerts, a carnival and a livestock show. All while raising millions for Texas kids.

Take a dip into the Barton Springs pool, which measures three acres in size, and is fed from underground springs with an average temperature of 68-70 degrees, ideal for year-round swimming. Over the years, people from all walks of life, from legislators to free-spirited have been drawn to this fantastic pool where even Robert Redford learned to swim at five years old. Today, Barton Springs still attracts a diverse crowd of people and has seen record-setting numbers of visitors nearing 800,000 in recent years.

Dedicated in 1971, the Lyndon B. Johnson Library & Museum chronicles the 36th U.S. President's contribution to civil rights and education in photographs, letters, official documents, and exhibits. While many of the documents and letters were written by Johnson himself, others were written by colleagues and friends to describe an engaging man who was an underrated orator and a popular politician, whose seemingly low-key demeanor often overshadowed his many ground-breaking accomplishments in public service.
