Every year, they introduce new exhibits, including a dinosaur-themed pop-up museum exhibit in collaboration with UTEP and El Paso Community College. As the oldest performing arts organization in El Paso and the longest continuously-running symphony orchestra in Texas, the EPSO has garnered national and international recognition for its exceptional offerings. The El Paso Zoo is a beautiful destination offering education and entertainment. With over 250 animal species on display, visitors can learn about their natural habitats and understand how to help preserve endangered species for future generations. Spread across 35 acres, the Zoo features a variety of habitats to explore. Visitors can enjoy exhibits such as the Reptile House, South American Pavilion, Americas Aviary, Cisneros Paraje, Birds of Prey, Forest Atrium, Asian Grasslands, and an Elephant Complex. The Zoo is home to 500 mammals, reptiles, birds, 100 fish, and 250 invertebrates. Additionally, fun activities such as a carousel, food court, and gift shop are available.
