Every year, they introduce new exhibits, including a dinosaur-themed pop-up museum exhibit in collaboration with UTEP and El Paso Community College. They receive nearly 8,000 annual visitors and host around 1700 student field trips. Insight promotes STEAM education through exploratory, interactive learning experiences that are creative and profoundly innovative. The El Paso County Coliseum is a historic venue in the city that has entertained people with concerts and events for over 80 years. The Coliseum has seen some of the biggest names in the music industry perform on its stage, including Elvis Presley, Jackson 5, Johnny Cash, Selena, Juan Gabriel, Fleetwood Mac, Ariana Grande, and Green Day. In addition to music concerts, the Coliseum has hosted various entertainment events such as boxing matches, Disney on Ice shows, Tuff Hedeman Championship Bull Riding competitions, car shows, and more. The venue can accommodate up to 6,500 people and has an 850-space parking lot, an Events Center, a Judging Arena, and an open-air Pavilion.

If you're a fan of Wild West history, you will want to attend the annual Billy The Kid Festival in San Elizario. This charming and historic Texas town will celebrate the notorious outlaw's visit in 1876 with various exciting events and activities. Visitors can enjoy reenactments of Billy The Kid's historic breakout at the old County Jail and learn all about his visit to San Elizario. An original play, "Billy the Kid: 1876," will also be performed on the Main Stage. Live music will be available at local restaurants and on the Main Stage. Best of all, all events are free, and the festival is pet-friendly. In addition to the historical events, a wide range of arts, crafts, entertainment, and food will be offered.
