Classic, symphonic music meets jazz, Broadway, and even Freddie Mercury with this very accessible set of performances that are set to electrify the Deer Valley Snow Park Amphitheater during its annual Deer Valley Music Festival. At this festival, the music of the Eagles and Queen get the classical treatment, while jazz trumpeter Chris Botti sits in with the Utah Symphony, just to mention a few of the upcoming attractions. Beginning in early July with a patriotic performance and running through early August, every one of these installments in the series is not to be missed.

Hang out at Jordanelle Marina, where you can soak up some sun while fishing or playing around with water toys like jet skis and pontoon boats. For a couple more thrills on the water, try your skill at water skiing, wake-boarding or other water sports. The marina offers other playthings like a water trampoline or a water weenie. This place is fun for the whole family, so bring the sunscreen and be ready for a good time at another great Salt Lake City destination.

Utah's Hogle Zoo was founded back in 1931 at the mouth of Emigration Canyon and it remains one of the most visited attractions in Utah. There are over 800 animals in residence. Among the many must-see specimens are the five endangered species of Asian cats, African elephants and white rhinos. And, the little ones will take delight in riding on the Conservation Carousel, featuring hand-painted models of endangered or threatened animals, so it's fun and educational at the same time.
