Founded in 1847 when the Mormon pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir has a rich history of performance and tradition among their spectacular voices. The choir is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has the distinction of producing the history in another way, as its Music and the Spoken Word program is the longest-running continuous radio network broadcast in the world.

Want to peek into a world where pioneers worked to establish Utah as the state that we know and love? Ever wonder what guns, tools, and even musical instruments from the 1800s looked like? Would you like to see where one of the state's true pioneers, Brigham Young, actually slept? Answers to all these questions and more can be found in the exhibits and attractions at the Daughters of Utah Pioneer Museum.

Hang out at Jordanelle Marina, where you can soak up some sun while fishing or playing around with water toys like jet skis and pontoon boats. For a couple more thrills on the water, try your skill at water skiing, wake-boarding or other water sports. The marina offers other playthings like a water trampoline or a water weenie. Classic, symphonic music meets jazz, Broadway, and even Freddie Mercury with this very accessible set of performances that are set to electrify the Deer Valley Snow Park Amphitheater during its annual Deer Valley Music Festival. At this festival, the music of the Eagles and Queen get the classical treatment, while jazz trumpeter Chris Botti sits in with the Utah Symphony, just to mention a few of the upcoming attractions. Beginning in early July with a patriotic performance and running through early August, every one of these installments in the series is not to be missed.
