Classic, symphonic music meets jazz, Broadway, and even Freddie Mercury with this very accessible set of performances that are set to electrify the Deer Valley Snow Park Amphitheater during its annual Deer Valley Music Festival. At this festival, the music of the Eagles and Queen get the classical treatment, while jazz trumpeter Chris Botti sits in with the Utah Symphony, just to mention a few of the upcoming attractions. Beginning in early July with a patriotic performance and running through early August, every one of these installments in the series is not to be missed.

The old world meets the very contemporary modern day at the Piper Down Pub. From hip hop and urban acts to Texas Hold'em and other entertainment, the diversity and attitude of everyone in the pub will have you coming back time and time again. There's also Throwback Thursday, where the DJ will spin your favorite Old School jams, and don't miss the hilarity of the Geeks Who Drink pub quiz and karaoke on Wednesday nights. Founded in 1847 when the Mormon pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir has a rich history of performance and tradition among their spectacular voices. The choir is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has the distinction of producing the history in another way, as its Music and the Spoken Word program is the longest-running continuous radio network broadcast in the world.
