Check out the collection of ancient objects and natural artifacts housed at the Utah Museum of Natural History. The museum is home to various pieces of history like crystallized minerals, bones from the extinct Giant Short-faced Bear, and a fossilized trilobite arthropod, all dating back thousands of years if not more. On your walk through the museum, you'll also see Native American artifacts like moccasins, gloves, bowls, baskets, and more.

Hang out at Jordanelle Marina, where you can soak up some sun while fishing or playing around with water toys like jet skis and pontoon boats. For a couple more thrills on the water, try your skill at water skiing, wake-boarding or other water sports. The marina offers other playthings like a water trampoline or a water weenie. Founded in 1847 when the Mormon pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir has a rich history of performance and tradition among their spectacular voices. The choir is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has the distinction of producing the history in another way, as its Music and the Spoken Word program is the longest-running continuous radio network broadcast in the world.
