Utah's Hogle Zoo was founded back in 1931 at the mouth of Emigration Canyon and it remains one of the most visited attractions in Utah. There are over 800 animals in residence. Check out the collection of ancient objects and natural artifacts housed at the Utah Museum of Natural History. The museum is home to various pieces of history like crystallized minerals, bones from the extinct Giant Short-faced Bear, and a fossilized trilobite arthropod, all dating back thousands of years if not more. On your walk through the museum, you'll also see Native American artifacts like moccasins, gloves, bowls, baskets, and more.

Hang out at Jordanelle Marina, where you can soak up some sun while fishing or playing around with water toys like jet skis and pontoon boats. For a couple more thrills on the water, try your skill at water skiing, wake-boarding or other water sports. The marina offers other playthings like a water trampoline or a water weenie.
