Classic, symphonic music meets jazz, Broadway, and even Freddie Mercury with this very accessible set of performances that are set to electrify the Deer Valley Snow Park Amphitheater during its annual Deer Valley Music Festival. At this festival, the music of the Eagles and Queen get the classical treatment, while jazz trumpeter Chris Botti sits in with the Utah Symphony, just to mention a few of the upcoming attractions. Beginning in early July with a patriotic performance and running through early August, every one of these installments in the series is not to be missed.

Utah's Hogle Zoo was founded back in 1931 at the mouth of Emigration Canyon and it remains one of the most visited attractions in Utah. There are over 800 animals in residence. Among the many must-see specimens are the five endangered species of Asian cats, African elephants and white rhinos. And, the little ones will take delight in riding on the Conservation Carousel, featuring hand-painted models of endangered or threatened animals, so it's fun and educational at the same time.

In a world where kids are told to not touch something, it's nice to be welcomed into a place where hands-on experiences are encouraged and welcomed! Discovery Gateway Children's Museum is located in the Gateway Mall in downtown Salt Lake City, and not only will the kids love it, mom and dad will have a great time experiencing everything too!
