Every January, Hollywood's best and brightest, as well as some of the industry's smartest and skillful movie makers convene in Salt Lake City for the annual Sundance Film Festival. Founded in 1847 when the Mormon pioneers entered the Salt Lake Valley, the Mormon Tabernacle Choir has a rich history of performance and tradition among their spectacular voices. The choir is sponsored by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has the distinction of producing the history in another way, as its Music and the Spoken Word program is the longest-running continuous radio network broadcast in the world.
