Seattle Redhawks
If you visit Seattle University, be sure to show your support for the Seattle Redhawks. These intercollegiate varsity athletic teams consist of eight men´s sports and nine women´s. Part of the NCAA Division I, the Redhawks compete against other universities in baseball, basketball, golf, soccer, swimming and more.
Port Townsend Aero Museum
The Port Townsend Aero Museum began operations in 2001, founded by experienced aircraft restorers Jerry and Peggy Thoutte. With an initial donation of six flying antique aircraft and several restoration projects, the museum quickly attracted a group of dedicated young volunteers. The youth mentorship program grew alongside the collection. Check out their collection and maybe even sign up for their volunteer program.
Northwest Folklife Festival
Make some memories at the Northwest Folklife Festival. This annual festival brings some of the city´s best local, ethnic, folk and traditional arts and music to the Seattle Center for a free three-day party over Memorial Day weekend.
