Visit the university district near the University of Washington for a wonderful day of watery fun. The UW Waterfront Activities Center offers canoe and rowboat rentals to the general public, as well as special discounts for students, alumni, faculty and staff. Spend a day on the water enjoying recreation almost any day of the week from January until November.

Take to the sky on a romantic hot air balloon ride from Balloon Depot. Look below you as you ascend to new heights above the beautiful valleys of the Puget Sound. These colorful balloons are flown by commercially licensed pilots, who will make your exciting and exhilarating flight a unique and memorable date experience.

The Port Townsend Aero Museum began operations in 2001, founded by experienced aircraft restorers Jerry and Peggy Thoutte. With an initial donation of six flying antique aircraft and several restoration projects, the museum quickly attracted a group of dedicated young volunteers.
