Let your wild side run free at the Woodland Park Zoo. See over 1,000 animals, representing 300 species, in large, immersive exhibits and attractions. Walk along the Northern Trail, travel through the Tropical Rain Forest, traverse the African Savanna, learn interactively at the Zoomazium and much, much more.
Take in some of the most breathtaking sights and smells as you walk outdoors through the Woodland Park Rose Garden. The Rose Garden showcases its extensive collection of roses, hybrids, tree roses, miniatures, climbers and All-America test varieties alongside its wonderful architecture in a way that brings together natural beauty and human designs in harmony.
Take a fun photo with the Fremont Troll. This large troll sculpture can be found under the Aurora Bridge–a place the descendants of Scandinavian immigrants believe is a magnet for troll sightings. This unique site is the perfect place to take a tourist or group picture, and is a local favorite.
Be sure to wear dark blue or neon green when you go watch the Seattle Seahawks play in their home stadium, CenturyLink Field. Part of the NFL since 1976, the Seahawks began as an expansion team and have grown steadily over the years, appearing in several recent playoffs and taking home division and conference championships. Hard-hitting sports action can be found at one of these games.
