Originally built in 1928 as a film and vaudeville theater, the renovated Paramount Theatre is one of Seattle´s most popular performing arts and entertainment venues. Walk through downtown Seattle on a guided tour with Seattle By Foot. Choose from four tours: Coffee Crawl, City Tour, Pub Crawl and Funky Fremont. Discover the finest coffee, beer and landmarks in the area as you learn about the history, culture, tastes, atmosphere and quirky hidden secrets that make up Seattle.
Freeway Park lives up to its moniker–streets border all sides of this urban park. Conveniently located downtown and easily accessible by shoppers, downtown office workers, hotel visitors and others, Freeway Park offers a relaxing outdoor space filled with a well-groomed landscape, pathways, a play area for children and a decorative fountain.
Be sure to wear dark blue or neon green when you go watch the Seattle Seahawks play in their home stadium, CenturyLink Field. Part of the NFL since 1976, the Seahawks began as an expansion team and have grown steadily over the years, appearing in several recent playoffs and taking home division and conference championships. Hard-hitting sports action can be found at one of these games.
