This WNBA team was founded in 2000 and has worked hard to provide a fan-friendly, family environment where people of all ages can watch them show off their sports skills. The Port Townsend Aero Museum began operations in 2001, founded by experienced aircraft restorers Jerry and Peggy Thoutte. With an initial donation of six flying antique aircraft and several restoration projects, the museum quickly attracted a group of dedicated young volunteers.
