Part of the 1962 World´s Fair display, the International Fountain is located in the Seattle Center. Designed to embody Seattle´s tall timber, whitewater waterfalls, fishing and history of gold rushes, this large, domed fountain is the perfect place to splash around, whether you are young or old.
Enter into a true jazz den, complete with personal tables, dim lighting and music performed by some of the best jazz artists in the country. Dimitriou´s Jazz Alley offers a nightlife atmosphere of unusual elegance and sophistication as you sit amongst the candlelight, listening to classic and classy music.
Take in the artistic culture of Seattle at the Seattle Art Museum (SAM). This extensive art museum consists of three facilities: the main museum downtown, the Seattle Asian Art Museum on Capitol Hill and the Olympic Sculpture Park on the waterfront. Check out the nearly 25,000 art pieces in its permanent collection.
Put yourself to the test at the Stone Gardens Seattle rock climbing gym. Choose different climbing options for the 16,000 feet of recreational climbing surface. Head indoors for the 65-foot lead roof and the option to boulder (climb without a rope) should you wish to challenge yourself. Beginners are also welcome, and may enjoy the classes and the simple 40-foot outdoor wall.
