When you enter the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience, the only pan-Asian Pacific American community-based museum in America, you will be introduced to a number of issues affecting the culture, art and history of Asian Pacific Americans. While the majority of the museum focuses on Asian folk art, a growing section is dedicated to Asian American pioneers and visionaries.
Be swept away by a performance by the Pacific Northwest Ballet. These ballerinas showcase their remarkable dancing talent in over 100 annual performances. This highly regarded ballet company entertains audiences with elegant full-length and mixed repertory ballets at their home theater as well as on tour throughout the US and the world.
The Washington Park Arboretum, also known as the University of Washington Botanic Gardens, offers a nationally renowned living plant collection with over 10,000 specimens. Take a walk through the many distinct gardens, such as the Winter Garden, Japanese Garden, the Shoreline and much more.
