The Port Townsend Aero Museum began operations in 2001, founded by experienced aircraft restorers Jerry and Peggy Thoutte. With an initial donation of six flying antique aircraft and several restoration projects, the museum quickly attracted a group of dedicated young volunteers. The youth mentorship program grew alongside the collection. Check out their collection and maybe even sign up for their volunteer program.

Be blown away by the beauty of Wallace Falls. Located in the enormous Wallace Falls State Park, with nine waterfalls (one that is 265-feet!), local wildlife, coniferous forests and lakeside shorelines, is one of the most amazing places to view nature. Be swept away by a performance by the Pacific Northwest Ballet. These ballerinas showcase their remarkable dancing talent in over 100 annual performances. This highly regarded ballet company entertains audiences with elegant full-length and mixed repertory ballets at their home theater as well as on tour throughout the US and the world.

Walk through the outdoor sculpture garden on a romantic date at the Olympic Sculpture Park, operated by the Seattle Art Museum. This public park features large, contemporary sculptures in both permanent and visiting installations. In addition to admiring the beautiful art and meandering through the green landscaping, you can also take a stroll down the beach.
