Check out a show at one of the city's premier music venues, the House of Rock, where bands from across the state and around the region love to play at this club when they're in town. The venue and bar welcome bands that play all genres of music, providing an intimate setting that can accommodate about 600 people. Bands like Devildriver, Oceano, Cannibal Corpse, Haste The Day, Chiodos, The Expendables, and Jeffree Starr have performed at the venue. Ballet Folklorico Viva Mexico de Corpus Christi is a group dedicated to preserving and enhancing the beauty of authentic Mexican Folklorico dance. They share this beautiful art form with the general public and are passionate about their mission. They regularly participates in Buc Days activities, Diez y Seis de Septiembre, Dia de Los Muertos, Instituto Cultural Hispanico events, and Cinco de Mayo celebrations. The group often performs at other civic and charitable events and at the end of each dance season, they offer an evening performance of traditional dance and music. If you're planning a special occasion, they are available to provide entertainment at weddings, quinceaneras, anniversaries, and more.
