With numerous interactive exhibits, thought-provoking larger-than-life Giant Screen films, and fun, hands-on educational programming, the Exploreum Science Center aspires to increase science literacy among the people of south Alabama and the Gulf Coast region, residents and visitors alike. By sparking imagination, creating curiosity and instilling a sense of wonder in the world, the Exploreum has been a cornerstone of informal learning on the Gulf Coast since its inception more than 35 years ago.

This one-of-a-kind entertainment venue has been often imitated but never duplicated, as any of the patrons of this blues club will tell you. The blues are very much alive at this no-frills venue, as it features a regular and highly impressive schedule of local and regional performers who all share their unmistakable love of the blues.

Stroll by antebellum homes, historical museums, and even old cemeteries. Plus, as you move along this recreation trail, you will be able to enjoy some of Mobile's natural amenities like live oak trees and blooming azaleas.
