Not only does the group present various classics from the world's most loved composers, but they also stretch out to present special engagements and entertainment. For example, a recent show was a presentation of the Music of Pink Floyd. The symphony also raises funds for the continuance of music education and offers special events and camps for aspiring musicians.

Mobile's Redoubt Trail Loop is located near Spanish Fort and is one of the area's more popular trails for hiking. The trail's scenic surroundings as well as its proximity to various historical sites makes it a visually appealing trek. The level of difficulty of this recreational trail is suited to hikers of all skill levels.

This sprawling 6,000-plus-acre wildlife refuge preserves the coastline's native flora and fauna as well as coyotes, foxes, American alligators and countless species of migratory birds. And in addition to those visually stunning inhabitants, you will also encounter some creatures that are a little out of the ordinary. These include the Alabama beach mouse which is on the endangered species list.
