Did you know one philanthropist has amassed thousands of historical manuscripts, and has them on display throughout nine museums in the U.S.? Seeing is believing at the Jacksonville Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, where you'll find the original draft of the "Bill of Rights," the original manuscripts of "The Wedding March" and Einstein's "Theory of Relativity," among many others.
The Florida Theatre is the beloved, refurbished epicenter of arts and culture in downtown Jacksonville. The historic entertainment venue has been completely refurbished and renovated into a concert venue for live performances, including ballet, opera, pop, jazz, rock and more.
The arts takes center stage at the annual Mandarin Arts Festival every Easter Weekend in the historic community. If it can be created, it's on display here. Browse through paintings, jewelry, pottery, photography, sculptures and more. Also featured are a kid's art show, green market and an Easter egg hunt.
