Fans of live music always make plans to be a part of the annual Bragg Jam held every last weekend in July. This is a memorial event to Macon brothers Braxx and Tate Bragg and the festival extends over two days that are packed with some incredible live music. These cool concerts feature some of the best local, regional and national acts. In addition to the live music, Bragg Jam attendees will enjoy children's events, arts and crafts, and the highly popular Ocmulgee Adventure Race. Proceeds from this event go to aid the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail.

A great time brightly booms every year at Macon's International Cherry Blossom Festival, held every March. This is a city-wide celebration that lasts 10 days and brings together several popular activities for the whole family to enjoy. There is much to learn and experience as the gathering is held at the 12,000-year old Ocmulgee National Monument.

Your guides and various participants are costumed actors, which only adds to the ghoulish fun. Their theatrical touch helps bring to life some of the most interesting characters who are buried in historic Riverside Cemetery.
