While the park is a popular lunch destination for the many nearby cubicle-bound office workers, it also offers urbanites a great place to enjoy some quality time doing fun outdoor activities. Central City Park features various ball fields, basketball courts and big expansive areas to just play and throw the frisbee around. Designated picnic areas, a good variety of playground equipment for the kids, and a winding walking path only add to the park's appeal.
