Established in 2000, the mission of the New Orleans African American Museum is to preserve, interpret and promote the African American cultural heritage of New Orleans, with a particular emphasis on the Tremé community.
Check out a performance at one of the oldest theaters in New Orleans, Le Petit Theatre. The entertainment venue is in its 95th season and has hosted productions of Hairspray, Chicken Little, The Frog Prince, Grey Gardens, Steel Magnolias, Damn Yankees and many others. Le Petit is the perfect destination for a night out on the French Quarter.
Take your honey out on a romantic date to lunch, dinner, dessert or drinks at the Herbsaint Bar & Restaurant. The Saint Charles Avenue restaurant serves up the best in Southern cuisine and offers a wine list that's hard to refuse. The laid back scene at Herbsaint is the perfect place to relax with your one-and-only.
For a shopping experience you won't find anywhere else, check out the Shops at Jax Brewery. One-of-a-kind stores, retail favorites and art galleries are just a few things you'll see around the brewery. While you're there, be sure to visit the Jax Promenade Balcony for a breathtaking view of the Mississippi River.
