The historic Redford Theatre has provided entertainment to Michiganders since 1928. Less than half an hour away from Detroit, you’ll find Livonia’s Rotary Park. Although only a small, one-acre park, this little green gem is a great place for those looking to stretch their legs outdoors. Walk along the lovely, wooded trails that pass by some River Rouge tributaries, head to the baseball field and tennis courts or bring your dog out for some fresh air.

The largest independent bookseller in the state, this enormous collection (over 1 million books) accounts for most of the store’s business–but true book collectors will want to make an appointment to view the rarer antiques next door.
