The nation’s first and only graduate repertory theater, the Hilberry Theatre gives its audience a unique theatrical experience. See a mixture of six classic and modern plays in the cozy yet stylish open-stage theater, performed by the specially selected company of 40-45 graduate students working with a team of professional staff.

Despite its name, Café D’Mongo’s Speakeasy is not a true speakeasy. However, the rich furnishings and dim lighting certainly lend a speakeasy mood to this popular bar. This former jazz club offers guests a subdued, comfortable nightlife experience where they can relax, sip on drinks and listen to live music performances.

Impress your special someone at the MotorCity Wine, where wine and jazz are on the top of the menu. Sample the best wines in Detroit and nibble on a fine selection of Artisan made cheeses, cured meats, olives, crackers and more with live or vinyl jazz in the background creating a smooth, heady atmosphere. Drive out to Taylor for a fun day at the Heritage Park Petting Farm, where guests young and old alike can have fun meeting the friendly, domesticated animals. Head inside the big red barn to interact with all sorts of barnyard life, from goats and ponies to piglets and alpacas. Or, stroll over to the nature pond where you can admire koi fish, frogs and turtles (but don’t pet the wildlife!).
