Originally a central point of early Detroit lost in the reconfiguration of roads and traffic, the famous Campus Martius Park was re-established as a Renaissance City focal point in 2003. The beautiful Gem & Century Theatres are a popular destination for private events, weddings and, of course, theatrical performances and entertainment. This large building houses two theaters, a delicious restaurant and a luxurious lobby. The two-level Gem Theatre features traditional row and aisle seating as well as stage-level cabaret tables. The smaller, more intimate Century Theatre provides a delightful cabaret atmosphere.
