Formerly known as the Tri-Centennial State Park and Harbor, the newly christened William G. Milliken State Park and Harbor is Michigan’s first state park located in an urban area. This park covers 31 acres of natural wildlife habitat, restored wetlands and riverfront. Visit the lighthouse, fish along the shore, enjoy a picnic outdoors or head out in a boat at this beautiful park.

Guests can choose to sit inside, where the classical, cathedral architecture and candlelight creates the perfect mood, or in the courtyard outside, where you can dine under the stars. The MOCAD leads the way in Detroit’s contemporary culture through its constantly rotating contemporary art exhibitions and attractions. Since first opening in 2006, this non-collecting museum has focused on responding to modern cultural content, promoting collaboration and fueling crucial discourse.
