Since 2000, the Movement: Detroit Electronic Music Festival has existed in one incarnation or another on Memorial Day weekend. Inside of the awe-inspiring Fisher Building, you’ll find the elaborate Fisher Theatre. This 2,089-seat theater reflects the Art Deco style of the landmark skyscraper with its classic mid-century design. One of Detroit’s oldest live entertainment venues, this historical landmark is still going strong. In fact, it is one of the best places to see a touring Broadway production in the city!
