This paved pathway essentially consists of a 5.5-mile promenade that runs from the Ambassador Bridge to Belle Isle Park. Stop along one of the plaza or pavilions for some fun at the carousel, butterfly garden or fishing piers.

In addition to being a top concert venue (presenting artists like The White Stripes, Modest Mouse and Kings of Leon), the Magic Stick hosts several other special events in its adjacent lounge and rooftop patio.

Spend some time at this premier jazz event and you’ll see why–five stages, 100 acts, fireworks, artists meet-ups and, best of all, free admission.
