The first and only museum in the country dedicated to Arab American culture and history, this center was created to enhance knowledge about this community. Come to Comerica Park to see the Detroit Tigers play ball. Part of an All-American sports tradition, this Major League Baseball team has been in Detroit (in one incarnation or another) since 1894. Wear navy, white and orange to show your stripes and your support as you cheer on the Tigers towards victory.

Less than half an hour away from Detroit, you’ll find Livonia’s Rotary Park. Although only a small, one-acre park, this little green gem is a great place for those looking to stretch their legs outdoors. Walk along the lovely, wooded trails that pass by some River Rouge tributaries, head to the baseball field and tennis courts or bring your dog out for some fresh air.

When frost is in the air, bundle up and head over to the Motown Winter Blast in Campus Martius Park. This festival features very, very cool events and fun activities for the whole family. Enjoy some free skating, walk through an elaborate Ice Garden, enjoy entertainment on two stages and warm up at some of the Comfort Zones.
