Located in Midtown Detroit’s Cultural Center Historic District, this 80,000-square-foot museum has been around since 1928, making it both America’s largest and oldest museum dedicated to a metropolitan history. The beautiful Gem & Century Theatres are a popular destination for private events, weddings and, of course, theatrical performances and entertainment. This large building houses two theaters, a delicious restaurant and a luxurious lobby. The two-level Gem Theatre features traditional row and aisle seating as well as stage-level cabaret tables. The smaller, more intimate Century Theatre provides a delightful cabaret atmosphere.

When frost is in the air, bundle up and head over to the Motown Winter Blast in Campus Martius Park. This festival features very, very cool events and fun activities for the whole family. Enjoy some free skating, walk through an elaborate Ice Garden, enjoy entertainment on two stages and warm up at some of the Comfort Zones.
