Despite its name, Café D’Mongo’s Speakeasy is not a true speakeasy. However, the rich furnishings and dim lighting certainly lend a speakeasy mood to this popular bar. Since 2000, the Movement: Detroit Electronic Music Festival has existed in one incarnation or another on Memorial Day weekend.
