Of the several classic structures found in Buffalo, one of the most essential is the Frank Lloyd Wright's Martin House Complex. Niagara Falls State Park offers plenty of outdoor activities and attractions, but the most obvious focal point of the entire area are the magnificent, cascading waters that make Niagara Falls such a riveting and compelling vision. The park covers a large area, as it includes the land that borders the American side of Niagara Falls. The area features several islands that act as vital vantage points when experiencing a park this size. These islands include Three Sisters Island, Prospect Point, Goat Island, and Luna Island at Bridal Falls. There are plenty of hockey fans in Buffalo, and with good reason. They get behind their team, the Buffalo Sabres, as the team is consistently one of the top drawing cards during the NHL season that runs from September through April. The sports team plays its home games in the HBSC Arena in downtown Buffalo.

At the Irish Classical Theatre Company, its original tradition of excellence is still very much alive. The theater was started by two brothers from Dublin who loved acting and received great crowd reaction to their early performances. The company performs at the Andrews Theatre, the area's only true theatre-in-the-round, a layout that assures that every seat offers a great view of the entertainment on stage.
