A slice of Buffalo's history can be revisited when you step into the Old Post Office. The structure dates back to 1901 and is augmented by not only a classic architectural design but a majestic tower and equally intriguing interior court. While the structure once served as the city's post office, it now is home to the Erie Community College. Despite that fact, the Old Post Office still retains a high level of vintage charm that makes it an attraction that's well worth a visit.

At the Irish Classical Theatre Company, its original tradition of excellence is still very much alive. The theater was started by two brothers from Dublin who loved acting and received great crowd reaction to their early performances. The company performs at the Andrews Theatre, the area's only true theatre-in-the-round, a layout that assures that every seat offers a great view of the entertainment on stage. Every summer, thousands of hungry guests wait for the doors to open to the Taste of Buffalo. This annual event held in mid-July allows various vendors, restaurants, caterers and other food-related businesses to show off their wares in the forms of free samples, cooking demonstrations, and other types of exhibits. Over 50 restaurants, 7 wineries and many others gather for what is the largest two-day food festival in the United States.
