Old Fort Niagara offers you the unique opportunity to connect nature to history. This rustic but appealing bar is housed in a timber-framed building and is made even more appealing by the friendly staff and equally amiable patrons. Also, don't forget to order the excellent buffalo wings that are offered in a variety of flavors that include Sicilian, barbecue and, if you dare, suicidal!

Darien Lakes State Park is known for its challenging, hilly terrain that surrounds the 12-acre Harlow Lake. There are several excellent recreation trails to be found in this naturally alluring part of the area. In addition to the trails, you will also find an impressive 158 campsites, a beach, playgrounds, great fishing spots, and horseback riding trails, too. Additionally, the trails here are open for not only hiking, but for sports like cross-country skiing and snowmobiling as well.
