A well-stocked bar is another outstanding feature of this nightlife venue, as well as a great menu that features standard but tasty choices like quesadillas, nachos and chicken fingers. The Genesee County Park and Forest is quite popular with hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. This park features more than 400 acres of forest and 17 miles of recreational hiking trails, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter months. Another reason this destination is a favorite is that it is open year round.

The Buffalo Museum of Science has an incredible number of stories to tell. But instead of presenting these accounts in a dry and uninteresting way, the exhibits and special presentations that can be found here bring it all to life in a way that makes learning about the area as fun as it is informative. The museum prides itself in its exhibits that span the various scientific fields, and the depth and breadth of their mission is accomplished quite well. Among the many highlights here are mummies and the biggest Kodiak bears in the world.

Buffalo's National Buffalo Wing Festival is held every September at Coca-Cola Field. Once you're in, you can not only tour the stadium but also treat your taste buds to some of the most delectable buffalo wings you've ever tasted! Wing lovers come from all over the country (and even the world) to celebrate the art of the buffalo wing. The event is held every Labor Day weekend and not only features the best wings in the world, but an equally staggering selection of beer and other delicious treats. Plus, there's great live music, events for the kids in the kids zone and even a nearby RV park for people who make the pilgrimage by way of the road. Lots of great fun, lots of incredible wings, and, to be sure, lots of napkins for everyone!
