This venue features the largest indoor display of gardens in the New England area. The Conservatory and greenhouses are situated on over 12,000 feet of gardens. With the pressures of deadlines and work and bills and everyday life, sometimes you both feel like escaping it all. While you may not be able to escape as far away as you would like, maybe a romantic date on the New England Fast Ferry will create a special memory for the two of you. This ferry covers the area from Providence to Newport and back. Rides are between an hour and an hour and a half, so you can make a little getaway before you both have to come back to reality!

Kids are used to being told to keep their hands off of things. Luckily for them, the opposite is the case when the whole family visits the Providence Children's Museum. A hands-on approach is highly encouraged as the kids are able to create their own artwork using the provided paints and other modes of expression. The exhibits and attractions are hands-on and are highly informative and entertaining, presenting such subjects as a time traveling adventure through Rhode Island's multicultural history, and a wet and wild exploration of the ways of water.
